Accessibility statement
Last reviewed: October 6, 2026
We want everyone to be able to use this website, however they browse: with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, high contrast or reduced motion.
Our goal
The site targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA (W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), the same reference adopted by the European standard EN 301 549. It is an ongoing commitment, not a certification: we review it with every relevant change.
What we do
- Checked color contrast (at least 4.5:1 for text) in both the dark and the light theme.
- Full keyboard navigation, always-visible focus and a skip-to-content link.
- Semantic structure — headings, landmarks and forms with visible labels — for screen readers.
- Alternative text for images and descriptions for diagrams.
- Animations that honor your system’s “reduce motion” setting, plus a visible control to pause them.
- Touch targets of at least 24 × 24 px; most are 44 × 44 px.
- No third-party accessibility widgets (“overlays”): accessibility lives in the site’s own code.
Preferences you can adjust
From the accessibility button in the header or the footer you can choose:
- Dark, light or system theme.
- High contrast (turned on automatically if your system asks for it).
- Text size: 100%, 112% or 125%.
- High-legibility font (Atkinson Hyperlegible, designed for low vision).
- More space between letters and lines.
- Underline all links.
- Pause animations.
They are stored only in your browser: we use no cookies for this and send these preferences to no server.
Known limitations
- Arcade mode (Nuuptech Quest): it is a game that needs real-time keyboard or touch input. All of its information is also available on the solutions pages.
- “Travel back in time”: it deliberately recreates 1990s interfaces, with their visual limitations. It is optional entertainment content.
- Lab demos: some are complex interactive visualizations. If one is not accessible to you, write to us and we will walk you through its content.
Compatibility
The site is designed for current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, on desktop and mobile, and to work with screen readers such as VoiceOver, NVDA and TalkBack.
How we evaluate it
Self-assessment with automated tools and manual review of keyboard use, contrast and structure on every relevant change to the site.
